Ep. 4 - Becoming a Full-Time Writer: C. M. Miller

How to turn professional and make a living as a full-time writer

In episode 4 of the BOOKS AND LETTERS Podcast, I was privileged to chat with Curtis Miller, and discuss his journey from being a high school English teacher to becoming a full-time professional writer.

C. M. Miller is a columnist, playwright, and kids writer who enjoys tackling books and ideas for a Christian-contrarian audience. He writes professionally for PragerU Kids but his writing has also appeared in numerous other outlets like Blaze Media, The Federalist, and City Journal. He is married with two children and lives in L.A.

After listening to the podcast, I encourage you to check out his Substack, A Shelf of Crocodiles, and consider signing up for his Playwriting workshop at the Christian Vision Writers Conference in the Spring of 2026.
